Classic Crewing Sp. z o.o. (Ltd.) – of many years’ standing expert in recruitment of Polish officers and seamen for vessels of foreign shipowners in the so called off-shore sector.
To a considerable extent, Classic Crewing is also linked with commercial and trade activities in a whole range of maritime economy segments, especially with its shipping part.
The company renders agency services in Polish ports as well as forwarding ones – in Poland and abroad.
Thanks to the consistent work and high standards, Classic Crewing became well recognised agency on the seafarers’ markets in Europe and outside of it, specialised in recruitment of seamen for the supply, stand-by, PSV, AHTS and similar type ships.
The company remains in solid trade liaisons and is on friendly terms with a few of major global operators in the off-shore sector, what contributes not only to the prestige, but also creates vast possibilities of delegating to work greater and greater number of Polish maritime specialists on highly specialised ships.
In its office, Classic Crewing employs a team of specialists well prepared for their work in this segment, who are equals in their knowledge and experience of specialists working outside of Poland, in offices of our shipowners.
A good example may be the former Office Manager – Miss Anna Kossak, who after seven years of work in Classic Crewing, in 2008 was employed in a great off-shore shipowing-operating company in Singapore – as a manager of a big recruitment and embarking department.
Her place was taken by Mrs Agnieszka Wróblewska, who started her career in our company, and having good maritime education (alumna of the Maritime Academy in Gdynia) as well as talent, professional predispositions and charisma, she deals perfectly well with the everyday Classic Crewing matters.
Invariably, Classic Crewing carries its activity pursuant to the regulations valid in Poland and abroad, in particular to the Polish Act of 20 April 2004, on promotion of employment and labour market institutions, and lately, to the Maritime Labour Convention ratified by Poland in 2013.
The Company was also granted licences for carrying the business activity, required by law and issued by the Ministry of Economy, the Marshal of Pomerania Province and by Polish maritime authorities.
We are experts in coordination of issuing equivalents of Polish maritime diplomas for ships of British and Bahamas flags, in close cooperation with and authorisation from the Maritime Coastguard Agency and Bahamas Maritime Authority.
Our mission for coming years is continuation of activity in such way as to participate actively and efficiently in obtaining good contracts for Polish officers and seamen whose position on the global labour market becomes stronger and stronger.
The leading objective will also be support for our loyal shipowners who modernise and expand their fleet of highly specialised ships which need the maritime specialists of the highest qualifications and experience.
