2nd Engineer – PSV

Genesis Personnel currently seek a 2nd Engineer for our clients DP II PSV vessel operating within UKCS.

Candidates are required to hold a 2nd Engineer >3000kw UK COC or UK CEC (issued by the MCA). DP Maintenance experience is preferred.

Recent extensive experience onboard PSVs is also required.

This is a permanent position offering a salary of ?44,987 per annum, subject to UK Tax and NI Deductions

Rotation will be 5 weeks on/off

Mobilisation 22nd February (back shift position also available 27th March)

    I am an offshore marine Engineer. Hold the 2nd Class Engineer (Unlimited) Licence and the 3rd Class Electrical Engineer Officer Licence
    Summary more than 4 years of marine engineering experience (begining from 2006) on board of Offshore vessels worldwide going in mixed nationality crews from Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America.
    Have experience on Accommodation barge, AHT vessels, AHTS vessels, AHTS/Cable laying vessels, AHTS/ROV vessels, PSV vessels with Dynamic Positioning 1 and Dynamic Positioning 2 System of Kongsberg and Marine Technologies.
    Oil majors experience Aramco, BP, Petronas etc.
    Gained good experience in Anchor handling, Towing the Rigs and Barges, Handling and transferring of all basic offshore drilling rig cargoes (cement, barite, liquid mud, oil etc.) and in operating of winches during anchor-handling, rig-move operations and bunkering. Computer literate to a high standard, conversant with PMS programs ets.
    As Engineer/Electrical Technical Officer I carried out maintenance and repair of main and auxiliary machineries, electric, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment according to PMS.
    Have a good experience on vessels with the main engines: Caterpillar, MAK, Yanmar, EMD and Bergen Diesel.
    Also have a good experience on Diesel-electric vessels, where the main propulsion systems are Mechanical: CPP, Electric propulsion drives: Azimuth thrusters, Auxiliary propulsion systems: Tunnel thrusters and Retractable azimuth thrusters.

    2003-2007 – Kherson maritime collage (medium school/marine Electrical Engineer Officer);
    2005 – Course of marine electricians;
    2007-2012 – Kherson department of Nikolayev Shipbuilding University (high school/Electrical Engineer Officer);
    2012-2013 – First Ukrainian Marine Institute (high school/Marine Engineer Officer).
