Chief Officers and Second Engineers Vacancies at Fairmount Marine

Fairmount Marine Second Engineers is a world-wide provider of towage and heavy-transport services. The main fleet, managed from Rotterdam, consists of five long distance towing vessels with 200 tonnes bollard pull under Dutch flag. When required, additional tonnage is chartered from the market.

For the five 200 tonnes bollard pull tugs Fairmount Marine requires Officers of all ranks for the safe management and operations of these world-wide operating vessels. As part of the Ship’s Management Team the officers are responsible for the day-to-day running of the vessel in all respects, including ship safety, security, manoeuvring, maintenance and reporting routines.

Chief Officers
Suitable candidates are expected to have the following qualifications:

– Licensed Officer, including all STCW required certificates for the applicable discipline;
– Several years of experience on Offshore support vessels as Officer;
– Safety conscious and familiar with quality management systems, including ISM;
– Good written and spoken English.

Second Engineers
Suitable candidates are expected to have the following qualifications:

– Licenced Officer, including all STCW required certificates for the applicable discipline.
– Several years of experience on Offshore support vessels as Engineer.
– Team player, prepared and able to bear responsibility.
– Good written and spoken English
